BACKGROUND OF THE TECHNOLOGY
IML-Aeroseal is a patented, award-winning and practically proven technology that enables the sealing of existing air conditioning ducts from the inside. The treatment reduces duct leaks by an average of 90% and therefore improves the energy efficiency, health effects,and usability of air conditioning.
- The method was developed in the United States in 1994.
- Aeroseal is the only method that can be used to seal the ductwork from the inside.
- Theductwork is sprayed with a non-toxic sealant that finds the leaks and seals them.
- In practise, an Aeroseal treatment has been found to seal 95% of air duct leaks.
- IML-Aeroseal grants the product a three-year warranty. According to studies, the sealed ducts maintain their seal for up to 30 years.

WHAT IS THE IML-AEROSEAL SERVICE FOR?
- Suitable for all types of air conditioning ducts, especially for sealing old ductwork.
- The method can be used to seal leaks up to 15 mm in diameter. If there are larger leaks in the ductwork, they must be sealed using traditional methods in advance.
- Toachieve the best result, it is advisable to clean the ducts before sealing, and readjust the system to achieve the optimal energy efficiency and conditions.
- The method is particularly well suited for hospitals, health centres,and other facilities that require a high level of hygiene, as leaking ductwork alwaysposesa hygiene risk.
